Trust is absolutely central to our business.
After all, you’re giving us access to your home while you’re away. We don’t take that responsibility lightly. We earn every relationship and treat your home as if it were our own — probably better.
Here’s a summary of the things we do to maintain good standing with you, and with all our homeowners:
We’re background checked.
We’re accredited by the National Home Watch Association.
Accredited members have to pass background checks performed by the NHWA. Accreditation is re-verified every year. We’re insured and bonded, one of the requirements of NHWA membership.

We don’t sell or share your info.
This is sacrosanct: we will not ever make any element of your information available to others under any circumstance, unless you specifically direct it.
And in those instances, we’ll only share what you tell us to, with whom you indicate. Never for marketing. Never for any reason beyond what you direct.
We keep your info secure.
Our proprietary information systems are behind strict safety protocols, meaning all the details of your home, our agreement, our visits to your home… literally everything is kept in a secure database with multi-factor authentication. Our systems are custom built for our exclusive use. We don’t license it to anyone.
Chris Wooster (owner, operator) is the only one with access. One guy. One key.
We’re a one man operation.
Currently , I’m the sole proprietor and operator.
I only take on the number of home watches I can service personally.
I do not have employees. I don’t contract others to perform home watches.
I don’t bring others along on my visits.
This means there’s only one person visiting your home, accessing your information, and communicating with you. The guy you meet is the only guy you’ll be working with.
If anything changes, we’ll discuss it specifically and personally.
We’re earning our way.
I started this business in 2025, growing it very slowly working out both processes and systems to ensure we could properly service homeowners.
We’ve been earning Google Reviews; slowly as we’ve been taking on homeowner clients one by one. We don’t have a lot of them… yet.
But we’d be happy to connect you with homeowners who have employed us for home watches.
We’re a member of the National Home Watch Association, the country’s longtime professional organization of Home Watch professionals.

Who exactly is Watchwell?
Owner/operator Chris Wooster has been a Hyde Park homeowner since 2007. A homeowner and landlord caring for homes for decades, he knows how houses tick; old ones, new ones, gadgety ones, and everything in between.
A longtime ad agency creative director, he started Watchwell to fill a need: finding someone to keep an eye on things during vacations or other times when your home is unoccupied and vulnerable.
We work directly with homeowners, real estate professionals, and others who need a trusted, insured and bonded professional to check in on your important possession: your home.
